Always add protein – egg whites or regular eggs. The fat and cholesterol are in the yolk.
To get more protein try scrambling one egg white and a full egg – you will get less fat and cholesterol and more protein with this weight loss combination.
Other good food choices are oatmeal, as well as a bunch of fruit – strawberries, peaches, blueberries.
Make sure that you get fresh fruit rather than tined, as the tinned variety generally have a lot of sugar in it.
Shawna K also recommends walnuts which she will often add to her oatmeal as another healthy alternativel.
For dairy eaters just plain skim milk. Make a smoothie with some whey protein.
The whole idea is that you want to start you day with some low glycemic carbs and some protein to get your metabolism stocked and ready for the day.
